Amazing Spider-Man is the first comic book title of the Spider-Man franchise and it remains its mainstream series. It has been published since 1963 as a monthly periodical and was published continuously until its relaunch with a new numbering order in 1999. In 2003 the series reverted to the numbering order of the first volume. The title was relaunched again in 2014 starting fresh from issue #1 and later relaunched again with a new volume with issue #1 following the 2015 Secret Wars event.
